Feast Your Eyes! The Winners Of The Food Photographer Of The Year 2016

A cloud of flour, a blanket of wild garlic plants and an oozing cheese sandwich are among the pictures that have been recognised in this year’s Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year Awards.

A panel of culinary experts got together to decide which images best captured the joy of a meal, the flair of food preparation and the franticness of buying and selling produce.

The overall winner was British photographer Mark Benham, who captured a baker as he puffed a cloud of flour through the air as he worked.

The judging panel this year included David Loftus, Jamie Oliver’s photographer, Emily Luchetti, Chair of the James Beard Foundation, NYC and Curtis Stone, Australian culinary superstar.
