Incredible pictures of Earth seen from the Space Station

Canadian astronaut Commander Chris Hadfield tweeted a breathtaking series of photos from the International Space Station - blasting his follower count up to 117,000.  Hadfield also conversed with William Shatner about space exploration, and to Buzz Aldrin, one of the first men on the moon. Aldrin replied, 'Neil & I would've tweeted from the moon if we could have but I would prefer to tweet from Mars. Maybe by 2040.' The images include volcanoes erupting through clouds, Japanese rice fields covered in snow and a rare 'noctilucent', or 'night shining' cloud.
