Their onscreen chemistry might not have been well received but their real life love story was tabloid fodder. After five years of dating, the chote Nawab tied the knot with his princess Kapoor in 2012 putting the rumour mills to rest. Three years later, the couple, considered one of the hottest in Btown are going great despite their religious backgrounds.

Talk about a fairy tale wedding, and this is it. Ever since their first film together Dhai Akshar Prem Ke in 2000, there’s never been a dull moment in their careers and personal lives. What really brought them together was a lineup of box office successes to their credit including “Bunty aur Babli” and “Guru”. They tied the knot in 2007 and their romance has only grown. Having been in the spotlight together at several red carpet events and even the much acclaimed Oprah Winfrey Show, AbhiAsh have certainly come a long way from their Dhoom characters to being proud parents to a baby girl.

While this is perhaps the cutest romantic couple we’ll find today, Genelia and Riteish graduated from being “just friends” to Mr. and Mrs. Deshmukh in 2012. He, the son of the late Vilasrao Deshmukh, an active politician, and she a model and a rising South Indian star, the two met on the sets of their first movie Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2003. From then on, it was love all the way. Although they’ve been quite under the radar post-wedding, their appearances at parties and other social functions always turn up the glam quotient.

Another real life romance that stood the test of time, Sunil Dutt and Nargis will forever be remembered for their performance in the 1957 classic Mother India, in which they starred as mother and son. Despite her alleged affairs with Raj Kapoor, Nargis had found a place in Dutt’s heart. “I am concerned about the person who comes in my life; what matters from that day on is how true the person is to me. The past is nothing to me,” he said in an interview. Sweet!

What happens when the original “he-man” of Hindi Cinema falls in love with his “Dream Girl”? Magic, of course. With their first film together in 1970, Dharmendra and Hema Malini decided to take the plunge in 1979. Before marrying, they both converted to Islam as the former was already married to Prakash Kaur, who was not willing to sign a divorce, and had two sons, Sunny and Bobby. A relationship that was nothing short of a controversy at the time, the ever-green couple has now two lovely girls, Esha and Ahaana and recently celebrated 35 years of marriage!

Perhaps the movie that defined the relationship that these two young rebellious lovers shared was Kal Aaj Aur Kal in which Randhir Kapoor shared screen space with his grandfather Prithvi Raj Kapoor and his father Raj Kapoor. In having Babita as his co-star in the movie, he hoped that his family would get to know their future daughter-in-law better. This Khiladiyon ka Khiladi has quite a long list of star-struck ladies right from Pooja Batra to Shilpa Shetty and Priyanka Chopra, but his marriage to Twinkle Khanna in 2001 put the rumour mills to rest. Having met her for the first time on the sets of a shoot for Filmfare magazine, Akki was immediately drawn to Twinkle and after a few years of dating decided to tie the knot.
