'Black Nazarene' procession: Millions of Catholics in spectacular Manila parade

Millions of devout Catholics have attended a spectacular annual procession of a centuries-old statue of Jesus Christ that many believe holds miraculous powers. An estimated nine million pilgrims crammed into Manila's streets hoping to touch the life-sized "Black Nazarene" went on its 10-hour journey through the streets of the Philippine capital. Almost 90% of the 100 million people in the country are Roman Catholic. The procession starts at dawn and finishes at midnight.
