President Barack Obama sworn in for second term in front of supporters

An estimated 700,000 people attended President Obama's inauguration in Washington. Obama, who won a second term in November, was sworn in on January 20, as stipulated by the constitution, but took the oath again publicly a day later. Former President Bill Clinton attended while Beyonce sung the national anthem. In the evening, Barack Obama and his wife Michelle danced to to Al Green's 'Let's Stay Together', sung by American singer Jennifer Hudson at the inauguration ball.
