Protest in Rio de Janeiro turns into a street party

A 200,000 strong protest in Rio de Janeiro had a party atmosphere with many of the demonstrators drinking and dancing. The protest called for President Dilma Rousseff to veto a bill that will redistribute oil revenue from oil producing states, like Rio, to non-producing states. Local politicians say this will deprive the region of  £1.06bn and will affect Rio's ability to host the football World Cup in 2014 and the Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2016.
