Villagers flee Indonesian erupting 'Ring of Fire' volcano as it spews ash four MILES into the air

Mount Sinabung has erupted for the third time in as many months, spewing ash four miles into the air and forcing villagers to flee. The volcano in the Indonesian island of Sumatra is on the nicknamed 'Pacific Ring of Fire' - a zone of frequent earthquakes and volcanoes. The eruption triggered a seven-day emergency period and led to the evacuation of 1,500 villagers, who call the base of the mountain home. The volcano had been inactive for more than four centuries until August 2010 - it has since erupted four more times.
