X Factor fashion: omg!’s verdict

With her figure, Kelly would pretty much look amazing in anything but we’re a tad unsure of this little leather dress. It’d look more at home in a West End club then on ‘X Factor’. Although we do love the detailing around the waist and the pleats are very on trend. What do you make of this look?

Sunday was Kelly’s style moment as she wore an Aztec style long top with a sheer skirt overlay. This outfit wouldn’t look out of place on the catwalk, but is equally fitting for the show. We’re a tad unsure about the statement shoulders (they looked a little clipped on) but overall it gets our vote.

Tulisa upped her game this week as she donned this dress with dramatic disc detailing and it worked a treat. We love the way she’s shown off her shoulders and arms, and not her legs or cleavage like in previous weeks. Teamed with an up do and small quiff she’s on the road to full-on fashionista.

Red and green should never be seen together so we’ve no idea why Tulisa wore red stilettos with her sequined dress. Saying that though, she rocked the frock fearlessly, the colour set off her skin tone a treat and we love the modest style. Ditching the hair extensions was def a decision well made!

Woah! Mischa B’s fringed shoulder pads were a-mazing although we would have paired it with dark jeans or black leggings - the super-short silver skirt was just too much for us! The corset top was overtly sexy so think it would work best with a pencil skirt.

We’d love to see pretty Janet out of the monochrome outfits – that’s all we’ve seen her wear! But we applaud this incredible feathered top with gold neckline. We’ve seen the lace tights and DM combo before but it still worked. And as for the crazy huge hair - this is a look we love.

Kitty isn’t usually one to shy away from funky fashion, but this week she kept her all-black outfit simple which was a tad disappointing. She added the glam factor by letting her hair and stunning eye art with elegant detailing do the talking.
- 8/10
Sami’s voice wasn’t enough to get her through to next week’s show and we’re not sure her outfit did much either. We like the detailing on the shoulders and waist and the sheer sleeves work well but we’re a bit bored of the all-black look.

The Rhythmix are starting to look more and more like a band, this week their outfits seemed to work more together and not against each other. We’re also a little bit in love with Perrie’s sequined shorts, def ones to wear at the upcoming Christmas parties.

Sophie took the rock theme a bit too far with the fingerless glove, studded belt, leather-look leggings and suede jacket. On their own these elements would have worked with softer, more feminine fabrics. Sophie, if you had to go hell for leather we’d have preferred you to wear a leather dress.
