The Piano's Brad Kella says it is a 'massive privilege' as he shares career update
Brad Kella, who rose to fame after winning The Piano earlier this year, has shared an exciting update about his career. The Bootle native claimed victory in the second series of Channel 4's hit reality show, which propelled him from performing as a street pianist to making his debut at London's iconic Royal Albert Hall last month.
Today, it has been announced that Brad will serve as a community ambassador for Aintree Racecourse. In this role, he will perform at the Grand National Weights Lunch in Liverpool's historic St George’s Hall on February 11, 2025.
He will also take the stage at Aintree Racecourse on Saturday, April 5, as part of the celebrations for the 177th running of the Randox Grand National.

Brad said: "It’s an absolute honour to be playing at the Randox Grand National at Aintree. I've always lived so close to the racecourse and loved to watch it every year; to say this year I’m going to be a part of it is a massive privilege for me.
“I can’t wait to spread joy through my music at such a prestigious event and it’s so important to me that the Grand National is such a significant part of the Liverpool community.”
Dickon White, regional director, The Jockey Club, North West, added: “Liverpool is a city with a strong and varied musical heritage so we are very proud to announce today that Brad has kindly agreed to be a community ambassador.
“Brad has a tremendous talent and we are thrilled that he will be performing at the Randox Grand National Weights Lunch in February, when the countdown to the great race begins in earnest, as well as on Grand National Day itself.”
