Pub-goers are once again being given the chance to urinate all over Donald Trump's face at a venue in Nottingham. A big image of the US President-elect has been placed in the urinals at Raglan Road Irish Bar, which the venue says is a "bit of fun".

A photo of the billionaire businessman turned divisive politician was put in the men's loos last week following his victory in the Presidential election. “People hate him or love him, he’s a controversial character," said entertainment manager Ged Dowling.

“It just makes it a bit of fun. Every day there are people in there taking photos. The purpose is to bring in business and people come in just because they want to see it."

The Derby Road venue pulled the same stunt when Trump was running for President in 2016, and put a photo of Russian President Vladamir Putin in the urinals in 2022 after his invasion of Ukraine. Last year, the pub had a picture of King Charles alongside the message 'please don't do Charlie (slang for cocaine) in the bathroom'.

“That didn’t go down too well. It wasn’t about Prince Charles but I was worried about getting beheaded, but I didn’t," said Mr Dowling. “I was going to put in the North Korean leader (Kim Jong Un) but didn’t want to get assassinated.

“[The Trump urinal in 2016] went viral all round the world last time, it even made the New York Times," said Mr Dowling. The manager said the latest stunt was “not at all” a political message, adding: "All politicians are the same, I’m not for him or against him.

"I’m not bothered about them, I just want to make the bar more viral. We have lots of Americans coming in.” Despite being well-received by most, Mr Dowling said he had received a complaint from one person.

“They said ‘you’re making fun of the President of America’. I said ‘he’s not yet and you shouldn’t take it so seriously’," he said.
