Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang says comparisons to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry are premature, but warned the Gunners' rivals that he's not yet at his best.

The Gabonese forward has been in brilliant form since signing from Borussia Dortmund in January, hitting 22 goals in 32 games.

He scored twice in Arsenal's 4-2 win over Tottenham on Sunday, and has now found the net with each of his last ten shots on target in the Premier League.

However, the 29-year-old says he has a way to go to be considered among the likes of Henry and Ian Wright.

"I don’t know if you can compare me to them because they are legends already," he said. "I have a lot of work to do to achieve their goals.

"It’s tough to achieve these goals because [Henry and Wright] did a lot of things for the club and scored a lot of goals.

"I am here and I am trying to do my best to achieve their goals

Aubameyang is the Premier League's top scorer with ten goals, but insists he is still going up through the gears.

“I think I'm not at 100 per cent, but it's coming,” the striker added.

“It's coming and against Spurs I felt very good on the pitch. I'm really happy because my best form is coming."
