Piers Morgan slams Boris Johnson's 'terrible final speech'
Piers Morgan has laid into Boris Johnson after his resignation speech, saying he was “boasting, blathering & blaming everyone but himself”.
The TV presenter shared his thoughts after the Prime Minister confirmed that he was stepping down, saying in his speech how sad he was to give up “the best job in the world" but that "them’s the breaks".
Morgan had been outspoken in the run up to the announcement, saying it was time for Johnson to go and taking a pig on his talk show for emphasis.

While many of Morgan's followers voiced their agreement, others said they thought Johnson was "gracious" and "articulate" in explaining his decision.
Some people quipped that they could see parallels between Johnson's exit and his own departure from Good Morning Britain.
Morgan quit the ITV breakfast show in 2021 after saying he didn’t believe claims that Meghan Markle made during her interview with Oprah Winfrey.
One fan tweeted: "Sounds quite similar to your departure from breakfast tv?"
