Piers Morgan is leaving the UK behind as he takes a break from Good Morning Britain for the summer.
The TV host shared a picture of himself sporting a mask in a plane at Heathrow Airport as he told social media followers on Sunday morning he was leaving the country after a "surreal" time amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Morgan, 55, didn't disclose the destination he was off to, but he regularly spends breaks out in Los Angeles where he owns a holiday home.
In April, the father-of-four revealed he had lent out his US property to a friend, while his parents were living at another home he owns in Sussex.
Morgan and GMB co-star Susanna Reid are taking around two months off from the programme and are due to return to their posts in September while a range of presenters fill their positions over the summer.
The pair typically take time off throughout the year to co-inside with school breaks, with their last break taking place in May.
Returning to GMB on Monday is Kate Garraway, who has taken time away from the show after her husband Derek Draper fell ill with the coronavirus.
While he is now COVID-19 free, Draper is yet to regain full consciousness and still remains hospitalised.
In an appearance on the show earlier this week Garraway, 55, said she was returning after doctors advised her to "get on" with her life. The mother-of-two also shared it's what she believes her husband would want for her too.
