Piers Morgan has told Caitlyn Jenner’s partner to “get over yourself” after she called him a “joke of a journalist” for the questions he asked her about the couple’s relationship.

Sophia Hutchins was unimpressed when the Good Morning Britain host pressed her about her connection with the reality star during a live television broadcast, asking her to “categorise” their association and quizzing her about whether there was any “hanky panky”.

The 23-year-old entrepreneur said on her Instagram Story: “Good Morning Britain, having Piers Morgan is your biggest mistake.”

“What a pathetic line of questioning he had for me this morning. Totally not cool,” Hutchins continued.

“I went on to support Caitlyn on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, not deal with stupid bulls*** questions from some jacka** like Piers Morgan.”

She insisted that the pair would never do Morgan’s show again, saying: “You have shown your true colours.”

However, Morgan has now hit back, sharing a link on Twitter to a story about Hutchins’ comments and writing: “Oh get over yourself..”

Jenner and Hutchins have been linked for some time and Hutchins confirmed last year that they were in a relationship.

During her interview with Morgan, she said that the pair were “family” adding: “We have a really special relationship. I don't think we need to be an item to have a really special relationship so to speak.”

She went on: “I am here for Caitlyn 1,000 thousand percent and Caitlyn's here for me 1,000 percent. I think the best way to describe our relationship is that we are partners in every sense of the word.”

Hutchins said that she and Jenner, 70, were “absolutely there for each other 100 percent”.
