Piers Morgan calls out Meghan Markle's half-sister for 'trashing' her before royal wedding

Piers Morgan has clashed with Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, ahead of the royal wedding this weekend.

Speaking to the Orlando-based sister of the royal-to-be on Good Morning Britain, Piers, 52, blasted the guest for using her family member to make money off of.

He and co-host Susanna Reid, 47, had a live link to Samantha, 53, to talk about the sisters’ relationship and why she’s not invited to the wedding.

When Piers began to interview Sam, he questioned why she’d said so many nasty things about her own sister.

She answered: ‘I think anyone who understands the English language and looks at what I’ve said verbatim will realise that I’ve said lovely things about her, but if there was a behaviour or a situation that I questioned, I think I was honest and fair about targeting the situation or behaviour and not her.’

Piers replied: ‘You’ve called her narcissistic, you’ve called her selfish, the royal family would be appalled by what she’s done to her family.

‘The truth would kill her relationship with Prince Harry, I don’t think Harry’s family would want to associate with her, Hollywood has changed her,’ before mentioning the book she’d written, titled The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister .

Then he asked ‘how much money have you made from trashing Meghan Markle?’

She replied: ‘Did you see me say those things or are you assuming them from tabloids?’

She refused to say how much money she’d made from the time Prince Harry and Meghan Markle went public with their relationship.

‘Many of our viewers, I think, may have watched your activities over the last year-and-a-half and think you have treated your sister, Meghan, in a very shabby way – that may be of course why you’re not invited to the wedding.’

After defending her father from the ‘media vultures’, Piers then went for the kill: ‘There’s no bigger media vulture with this wedding than you, is there, Miss Markle?

‘How you have the gall to come on here and talk about ‘media vultures’, you’re doing a book called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister!

‘You’ve been trashing her for two years, you little vulture!’

‘The title was a mockery of social labels,’ Samantha explained to Piers and Susanna.

‘I wanted a title that was opposite content, so for intelligent minds, to look at that I assume that people would understand that,’ before saying people preferred to ‘look at the negative’.
