Piers Morgan has tweeted the address of the complaints department for his new show “to save time”.

The outspoken presenter is known for sparking the odd backlash, and his comments about Meghan Markle on Good Morning Britain in 2021 prompted more than 57,000 complaints, although he was later cleared by broadcasting watchdog Ofcom.

Morgan is now about to launch his own programme on new global channel TalkTV from Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, and it seems he couldn’t resist a joke about the complaints he might get in the future.

He tweeted a picture of himself pointing to the address: “Complaints Dept, TalkTV, 1 London Bridge St, London, SE1 9GF.”

“To save time…” quipped the broadcaster.

Fans saw the funny side, with many sharing crying with laughter emojis.

“Ha ha, that’s funny,” one person wrote, while another thought it was a “brilliant” post.

“Twitter & email address pls, makes it easier,” joked another fan.

One fan wrote: “Complaint done. It reads, I wish to complain in advance due to @piersmorgan encouraging me on Twitter to complain.”

Morgan, 58, has vowed to cancel 'cancel culture' and 'annoy all the right people' in his show Piers Morgan Uncensored, which starts later this month.

He has said he wants the programme to be a platform for “lively vigorous debate, news-making interviews, and that increasingly taboo three-letter word: fun”.

Plenty of viewers said they were looking forward to tuning in.

“Can't wait for your new show,” one tweeted in response to his latest post.

“Really missed you,” said another. “Our mornings are just not the same!”
