Good Morning Britain's Piers Morgan - aka the gift that keeps on giving - is involved in yet more beef, this time with BBC Breakfast's Dan Walker, all thanks to the Beeb mixing up its own presenters' names.

It all kicked off when the BBC incorrectly named Dan Walker as Charlie Stayt and Sally Nugent as Naga Munchetty...

Obviously, Piers jumped on Twitter to joke: "No offence @mrdanwalker - but do your employers even know who you are?"

Dan joked back: "Why don't you concentrate on your own show? All the best, Charlie."

It wasn't even the first back-and-forth the pair had today, as earlier on they joshed over which show the British public was watching.

Speaking of "fake news", Piers was recently feuding with Channel 4 news anchor Jon Snow over that very thing. He was also involved in a monumental spat with Ewan McGregor after he skipped his interview on GMB.

He also previously accused David and Victoria Beckham of "pimping out" their son Cruz after he released his first single, 'If Every Day Was Christmas'.

Aaaaand he slammed I'm a Celebrity winner Scarlett Moffatt, said he was 'sick' in a bucket after watching Madonna's Carpool Karaoke, and called X Factor star Ryan Lawrie 'off-tune' during an awkward interview.

Oh and let's not forget his disputes of late with Lady Gaga, JK Rowling and The Last Leg's Adam Hills.

Earlier this week, Piers withdrew from hosting the upcoming Royal Television Society (RTS) Programme Awards, following an online backlash from some of its irate guests.

The Good Morning Britain presenter released a statement on his Facebook page which said he would be pulling out so as not to "serve as an unnecessary distraction from award winners".
