In what could be considered an unlikely trio, Piers Morgan, Gary Lineker and Jake Wood appeared to enjoy an evening out together this week.
On Wednesday night, the Good Morning Britain host shared a photo to Instagram of himself at a Spanish restaurant in London with the pundit and EastEnders star.
It seemed Morgan was enjoying showing off his new book, Wake Up, as he held it up to face the camera while his companions jokingly pretended to be having a snooze.
"The book launch is off to a thrilling start! Both guests loved it... #WakeUp," he captioned the snap.

In his previous post to the social media platform, Morgan shared a photo of a disgruntled looking Lineker as he held up the scores to Wednesday's Carabao Cup match which saw Leicester City defeated by Arsenal 0-2.
Morgan, an ardent Arsenal supporter, teased the Leicester-born Lineker: "Enjoy the game, Gary?"
He announced he would be releasing a book this October back in July as he explained it would explore "the war on free speech".
“I’m delighted to announce my new book: ‘WAKE UP - Why the ‘liberal’ war on free speech is even more dangerous than Covid–19’,” he said earlier this year.
While Morgan and Lineker have had their spats in the past, recently, Morgan commended the ex-footballer after he said he would take a refugee into his home.

Sharing out the original Daily Mirror article in which Lineker made the remarks, Morgan commented: "This is called putting your money where your mouth is. Well played @GaryLineker."
