Piers Morgan has announced that he will interview Donald Trump in his first international interview since becoming President of the United States.

The Good Morning Britain host will speak to Mr Trump at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday.

The interview will be broadcast on Sunday January 28 on ITV at 10pm.


Confirming the news on Twitter, Morgan shared a picture of himself filming in Davos.

‘First clips from my world exclusive interview with President Trump will air on @GMB from 6am tomorrow morning. #davos #trump’, he wrote.

He added in an Instagram video: ‘I’m here in Davos, Switzerland, not to do some skiing but to do some grilling – of President Donald Trump – the world’s most powerful and the world’s most controversial man.
