There's nothing quite like A League of Their Own for delivering lighthearted entertainment and the urge to go and have a pint with Freddie Flintoff and Jack Whitehall.

But this latest stunt from an upcoming episode has done all of that and then some.

In a moment that's nothing short of national service, Freddie Flintoff has given us something to replay on loop for the rest of our days.

He went and pulled Piers Morgan's pants down.

We don't think we're out of turn for suggesting someone gets that man a knighthood, are we?

If there's one person we imagine wouldn't mind pulling Piers' pants down on TV, it's Moola CEO Gemma Godfrey, who was a guest on yesterday's (September 12) Good Morning Britain to discuss the case of a woman who dyed her hair brown so that she would be taken more seriously at work.

"When I was raising money to start Moola, if I had been told to paint myself blue, I would have. It's so hard that you just bloody do it," Gemma said, prompting Piers to apologise for her language – and then make a casual sexist comment. Oh, Piers.

"We would all like to apologise to anyone watching for the language used. But what do you expect from a blonde?" he quipped, unfunnily.

To add insult to injury, Piers then asked viewers if they preferred "dimwit blondes or sexy brunettes", before the show cut to a brief ad break.

Piers, we'd hold onto our trousers if we were you.

A League of Their Own is back on Thursday, September 14 at 9pm on Sky 1.
