Piglet Learns to Walk on Just Two Legs

This two-week-old piglet hasn’t let his two legs hold him back. When Miracle was born without the use of his back legs, he instead learnt to walk on his front legs.

Breeder Ari Smith Owens told Storyful: "He was born to a litter of six. He came out almost simultaneously with one sibling and both umbilical cords were still attached to mom so maybe he was squashed and didn’t have room to grow. I didn’t think he would live as moms usually abandon the ‘sick’ ones. Babe did not though. I watched as he figured out how to walk on his front legs in a matter of a few minutes.

“Later that night I disturbed mom and he ended up about two-and-a-half feet away from her and I watched as he walked over to her, climb over her head and push a sibling off ‘his’ nipple! I knew right then what a fighter he was. The next week was a lot of looking in on him to see if he was still thriving and to my surprise and delight he was!
