Pig's 'Strut' at Texas Agriculture Show Becomes TikTok Hit

A Hampshire pig is among the more unlikely TikTok stars out there, but footage shared of one of the breed in competition at a livestock show in Henderson, Texas, has drawn over 11 million views.

Posted on February 24 by Texas native Bobbie Vowell, the footage shows her daughter guiding the pig, named Big T, in a straight line during the Rusk County Youth Project Show.

The pig’s majestic posture during its stroll forward, alongside the dead serious approach of Vowell’s daughter, all mixed with a suitable soundtrack of Pretty Girls Walk by Big Boss Vette turned the moment into a viral hit.

In a follow-up video, Vowell’s daughter said the look on her face and her own stance was “showmanship,” and that it’s “the nature of the sport.” She also noted that while Big T didn’t walk away with any prizes at the event, she wanted to assure people he had also not been “butchered” in the meantime.
