Yahoo News Pink reveals Christina Aguilera once tried to PUNCH her during the height of their feud
Pink has revealed that Christina Aguilera once took a swing at her in a nightclub during their 16-year feud.
The warring frenemies, who have only recently called a truce, famously fell out back in 2001 when they recorded a cover of Lady Marmalade with Lil’ Kim and Mya for the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.
Pink has now revealed that their relationship was so fractured after arguing over whose voice featured most on the song, that it even once got physical between the pair.
Speaking on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen during the show’s trademark game Plead The Fifth, in which guests are asked three questions and may decline to answer one, Pink was asked what was the biggest issue she ever had with Christina.
‘Actually, she swung on me in a club, which was hilarious. I was like, ”What’s happening right now? What’s happening?”, she recalled.
‘We were super young and super new at the whole thing. I think I’m an alpha and she’s an alpha.
‘And I’m used to taking my altercations physical and she’s used to having them verbal. We’re just very different,’ she added.
But despite their former differences, the So What? singer admitted they are now on good terms.
‘We’re fine. Look, she’s so talented and deep down, I’ve had bad days too, she’s a really sweet person. We made up on The Voice,’ she said.
‘I mean, it was funny, I laughed. We made up on The Voice. I hadn’t seen her in years and years and years and we became moms. We grew up and we hugged it out. It’s that simple and I feel so good about that,’ she added.
So good in fact that Pink also dropped a major hint that she has collaborated on another song with Christina.
She teased: ‘We may or may not have already collaborated. I don’t know if I’m allowed to say that, but I just did.’
