A Place in the Sun couple issue brutal response to Jasmine Harman's property detail
In an amusing episode of A Place in the Sun, host Jasmine Harman was faced with a surprising response from house hunters during their property search.
During the Thursday show (September 19), viewers saw Jasmine return to take British couple Ronnie and Jill around France's scenic regions in pursuit of their perfect abode. The duo, whose children are now adults, were ready to start afresh in a charming French home.
The property quest turned humorous when Ronnie and Jill instantly balked at encountering an overly vibrant red kitchen. Jill did not mince words, immediately declaring: "We can't possibly have a red kitchen."
Their stance induced giggles, particularly as they elaborated that being dedicated Everton supporters meant that red was a non-starter as they're strictly 'blues' enthusiasts.

By the end of the programme, after surveying five potential homes, Jasmine eagerly awaited to see if any had won over Ronnie and Jill's hearts. Although initially attracted to the first house shown, uncertainty about its locality swayed them against extending an offer, according to the Mirror, reports the Express.
Home audience members felt a sense of anticlimax due to the absence of a solid decision, with one viewer posting on X (formerly Twitter): "No offers today then," followed by a rolling-eyes emoji.
Another viewer pointedly commented: "We don't care if it's right for you. Just make an offer."
One fan cheekily commented: "Free holiday for the scousers?" And in a more annoyed reaction, another said: "I knew we'd have this b******t at the end."
Despite some viewers initially expressing disappointment as Jill and Ronnie kept their intentions under wraps, the installment of A Place in the Sun ended on a positive note with the revelation that the couple had put in an offer on one of the properties they had seen, which was accepted.
At the conclusion of the programme, host Jasmine delivered the heartwarming news that Ronnie and Jill were living in temporary accommodation in France while looking forward to getting the keys to their new home.
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
