A Place in the Sun host 'disappointed' as house hunters make huge U-turn on dream property
In the latest episode of A Place in the Sun, presenter Jasmine Harman was frustrated after one couple took a huge U-turn on their dream property.
On Monday's edition (November 11), Jasmine joined Barry and Angela in Spain as they scoured Benidorm for an extraordinary abode boasting a budget of £225,000.
Their property hunt initially hit a few bumps, with the pair calling for more outdoor space and fewer close neighbours. Challenged by their demands, Jasmine vowed to find the perfect match.
A turning point came when she presented the final option on her list, leaving Barry and Angela utterly captivated.
Offering four bedrooms, a guest annexe, and its own bar, the home surpassed their budget, coming in at £275,424.

Nevertheless, captivated by the beauty of the house, particularly its luxurious pool and expansive grounds, Angela was taken aback, exclaiming, "I can't believe I feel like this!"
Jasmine sensed triumph, seeing that she had successfully met all of Barry and Angela's criteria, reports the Mirror.
The mood soared as Jasmine allowed the couple some moments to deliberate. Given Barry and Angela's clear keenness, they seemed poised to reassure Jasmine that this four-bed villa in Spain was indeed the home of their dreams.
However, despite the positive response, a deal wasn't immediately on the cards, and the couple had to deliver the disappointing news to Jasmine. Angela began by stating: " We're 99 percent sure that we are going to put an offer in but I'm really sorry to disappoint, not today."
Angela continued to clarify that they wanted to get a feel for the area before making their significant decision. Maintaining that the fifth property was still their dream home, the couple expressed their desire to explore more before committing financially.
Jasmine, although surprised by their position, respected their decision. However, viewers at home were less understanding.
One viewer commented: "Should of got it when they liked it so much."
Another wrote: "I think I have only ever seen 1 episode where they actually end up buying a property...." (sic).
A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 4pm on Channel 4.
