Jasmine Harman admitted she was "worried" after meeting two potential buyers on Wednesday's A Place in the Sun.

Jasmine, 48, was in Gran Canaria where she was helping couple Nick and Tim to find their dream holiday home. With a budget of £250,000 they wanted somewhere that would be the "perfect escape" from cold British winters.

As she met the couple and asked why they chose Gran Canaria, Nick said: "Long haul is an awful long way in the winter". He added that he wanted their holiday home to be "somewhere as far away from the noise and parties and barbecues as possible".

Tim said they were looking for somewhere "on its own with no near neighbours, in a beautiful spot where we could hopefully see a westerly setting sun in the evening". Nick added they wanted a home that is "very small, one bedroom".

He continued: "We don't want acres of land, don't need a pool, and I'm not particularly interested in a project. It would be nice to see some traditional buildings that have been converted really well".

The couple also explained they would like to do some sailing, cycling and maybe water skiing while they were over for the winters. When asked if they had any wiggle room on price, Tim said they could probably go to £300,000 for "somewhere exceptional".

Before the search even got started, Jasmine shared some concerns with viewers at home: "I think this house hunt is going to be good fun but I'm worried that Tim and Nick have a very specific idea of what they want.

"And even with their sizeable budget, there aren't tonnes of properties that fit their criteria."

A Place in the Sun airs weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4 and All 4
