Plan for new store at old Timpson's near busy Scott Arms junction
A former Timpson's branch could be changed into a nail and beauty salon, according to plans. An application has been submitted to convert the vacant unit which amongst a line of businesses on Walsall Road, near to the Scott Arms junction.
The unit was formerly a Timpson's, key cutters, cobblers and dry cleaners. A change to a nail and beauty salon would fall within the same category use and would therefore not require planning permission, the application states.
A range of new shops have opened recently along the parade including nail bars and fast food takeaways. There is limited parking outside but the site benefits from high footfall due to bus routes.
