PEOPLE can have their say on plans to extend a busy community car park in Wall Heath.

Dudley Council has submitted a planning application to extend the car park behind the community centre on Enville Road.

An extra 10 parking spaces are planned to help ease the pressure at busy times on the car park which serves the community centre, the scout hut and Wall Heath Tennis Club, as well as football teams who use the adjacent field to train.

The work is expected to cost around £18,000 and it would be funded through section 106 money.

People can submit their views by going to the planning applications section of Dudley Council’s website dudley.gov.uk (search P22/1515).

Members of the public have until Monday December 12 to have their say on the proposal which would see part of the grassy area next to the car park used to create the extension.
