Plans for Edinburgh's Leith Walk to get new Pret a Manger sandwich and coffee shop
Plans for a new cafe near Leith Walk have been submitted.
Proposals have been submitted to Edinburgh Council for Pret a Manger to take over a unit near Sainsbury's at Shrub Place, on Leith Walk.
According to plans, the cafe would be located to the left of the supermarket and under the student accommodation.

Plans for new signage which reads Pret a Manger have been proposed and a decision is currently pending.
Location plans show the cafe would extend across the side of the building which is on Leith Walk and Shrubhill Walk.
The site currently has a Sainsbury's supermarket and a Starbucks which is popular with Leith locals.
