North Lanarkshire Council has received a planning application seeking authorisation to convert an office in Wishaw into flats.

ABR Properties has submitted the application, which concerns a building in Kirk Road. It proposes that the offices be transformed into three flatted dwellings.

The application does not include a request to provide additional parking facilities over what already exists, while waste storage facilities will be in the form of standard wheeled bins.

Several neighbouring properties have been notified of the proposal, including Ebenezer Gospel Hall and Gateway Church in addition to businesses and various residences.

The application is currently open for consultation before it is determined, so anyone wishing to learn more or leave a comment for consideration can visit the council’s website and search for planning reference 24/01069/FUL.
