PlistEdit Pro for Mac review

PlistEdit Pro allows you to edit and control your PLIST files in OS X. PLIST files are "property list" files, and contain a great deal of information regarding program and operating system settings. By editing the PLIST files directly, you gain more control over your computer.

Pros

Excellent help file: PlistEdit Pro's help file is clear and well-laid out.

Clean interface: The interface is clean and modern looking.

The preferences browser: PlistEdit Pro's preferences browser helps find those files you wish to work on. You can also save your searches to recall things at a later date easily.

Cons

Lack of warnings: Some warnings for the uninitiated could be helpful, as working with PLIST files is above many people's heads.

Bottom Line

If you need to work on your PLIST files, this app is one of the best ways to do so. It is easy to use, has a great help file, and does everything it aims to well.
