You plonker! Cheeky driver shows police his ‘Del Boy’ driving licence
Police outed a ‘plonker’ driver after he showed them a driving licence that said he was Derek Trotter from Only Fools and Horses.
And while the sitcom may no longer be on our television screens, police knew straight away that this Del Boy was as cheeky as his TV namesake.
Officers pulled over the driver in Terrington, near King’s Lynn, and found that he was behind the wheel without any insurance.

When Norfolk and Suffolk police dog unit officers asked for his driving licence, police were amused with what they saw.
They tweeted: ‘#BonnetDeDouche everybody, not even this #Plonker’s fake driving licence could stop their car being seized.

Police said the licence – that was even signed ‘Del Boy’ and for a three-wheeler vehcile – was not produced in an attempt to deceive them as they only saw it after he had been dealt with.
They added: ‘It made us both laugh.’

Del Boy’s licence comes in the same month that Thames Valley Police officers were handed one that had the name and cartoon face of Homer Simpson plastered on it.
That driver saw his car seized and he was also reported for driving with no insurance and driving without a proper licence.
