Plymouth Argyle complete Rami Al Hajj signing from Danish club Odense
Swedish midfielder Rami Al Hajj has signed a three-year contract with Plymouth Argyle after finalising his transfer deadline day move from Danish club Odense.
The 22-year-old passed a medical earlier today but the deal was not finalised in time for Al Hajj to be available for the Pilgrims' Championship clash against Stoke City at Home Park tomorrow.
Argyle head coach Wayne Rooney told the club's official website: "Rami is a player we have been tracking for a while. He is a creative, skilful attacking midfielder who will complement our forward line perfectly.

“He has good experience for his age but also has lots of room for growth and development. We are really pleased that we have managed to bring him here permanently and add him to our eight other summer signings.”
Al Hajj, a Sweden under-21 international, has joined for an undisclosed fee but it has previously been reported in Denmark that it is one million euros - approximately £840,000.
Argyle director of football Neil Dewsnip said: “Rami is a creative ball-playing midfielder and will strengthen our options in forward areas. He shone for Odense last season, contributing goals and assists, and impressed during his time with Heerenveen in Eredivisie.
"He also comes with international pedigree at age group level, and we believe he will make a positive impact on the Championship. “I’m delighted to welcome him to Argyle and know the Green Army will look forward to watching him play."
Al Hajj signed for Odense last summer from Dutch club Heerenveen and was one of the few positives from a season which saw them relegated from Denmark's top division, the Superliga. He had four goals and eight assists in a total of 32 games.
The midfielder has not played for OB in any of their seven games in the Danish First Division at the start of this season, all of which they have won.
Argyle had made a club transfer record bid for Ghanaian midfielder Michael Baidoo but his Swedish club Elfsborg, who qualified for the UEFA Europa League last night, stuck to their guns about not selling him in this transfer window.
