Plymouth court list includes woman jailed after stealing five jars of coffee

Once again the drug drivers have outnumbered the drink drivers and all have found to their cost that it was not a good idea to get behind the wheel of a vehicle while under the influence.

In one case a driver has been banned for a staggering four years after being caught multiple times - and even ordered to undergo drug testing for six months.

Meanwhile, a happy shopper who was already on bail for another offence decided that they would risk stealing five jars of coffee. However, in her case magistrates decided the sentence should be six weeks in prison due to her "flagrant disregard for people and their property".
