A Plymouth steakhouse is wowing diners with huge portions, piping hot food - and an equally warm welcome. One impressed visitor to Barbican Steakhouse said they found "nothing is too much trouble at the independent restaurant..
The Notte Street steakhouse was founded by by Mac Bhatti and best friend Adrian Wood in 2009 with the aim of creating the ultimate dining experience for meat lovers. It's known for its "Man v Food" options for those with a big appetite and its signature dish, the Farmyard.
Billed as "the ultimate mixed grill", the "30oz meat feast" comprises rump steak , pork steak, gammon, chicken breast, lamp chop and sausages. Served with chips, onion rings, a fried egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, peas and salad, it will set you back £29.95.

The steakhouse - which also has options for vegetarians and vegans - has been flying up the rankings and is in Plymouth's top 100 restaurants on reviews website Tripadvisor, with a near-perfect 4.5 out of 5 rating.
Reviewer Debbie B, who visited this month, said: Thank you all for an amazing evening. The food was amazing, well cooked and arrived piping hot. We were celebrating and the staff joined in with our banter. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
"A lovely restaurant, good and staff - we will definitely be visiting here again."
Rebecca F wrote: "What a fantastic night, booked a table for a family birthday, there was 25 of us. The food and service was 100%. All food was piping hot and we all ate together. Hats off to you all. Thank you for a great night."
And cazzer142017 called it a "very good restaurant", adding: "We were really struggling where to take out our son for his birthday then found this restaurant online, excellent food, all cooked to perfection, very friendly and quick service. Would definitely recommend this restaurant."
