Plymouth Wetherspoon pubs launch new menu for Burns Night
Four pubs in Plymouth will have haggis, neeps and tatties as well as other Scottish delicacies to celebrate Burns Night. This year the celebration lands on January 25th, where people across Scotland and all around the world celebrate the renowned poet Robert Burns.
Customers at The Union Rooms in Union Street, The Manamead in Mutley Plain, The Gog & Magog in Southside Street, Barbican and The Britannia Inn in Wolseley Road, Milehouse, will be able to enjoy some traditional Scottish food and drinks to mark the occasion between Wednesday, January 22 and Tuesday, January 28.
The Union Rooms pub manager, Sam Cross, said: “The seven-day celebration is a great opportunity for our customers to enjoy some traditional Scottish food and drink and to celebrate for longer than just the 25th of January.”

The Wetherspoon pubs will be serving Scottish haggis, neeps and tatties, as well as a Caledonian Burger - Two 3oz beef patties, with haggis, whisky sauce, served with chips and six onion rings.
There will also be a haggis meal on offer and a small Scottish haggis, neeps and tatties meal is also available, for customers who want a lighter meal.
Among the drink choices for the Burns’ event there are also a selection of Scottish drinks for customers to enjoy. On offer is Inveralmond Ossian from Perthshire-based Inveralmond Brewery, a golden-coloured beer with a hoppy, zesty, citrus aroma, being served especially for the event, as well as a choice of more than 150 drinks, including Scottish gins, whiskies and beer.
