Plymouth's Winter Wonderland Christmas ice rink opens today

Christmas is finally here, as Friday is the day that Plymouth’s Winter Wonderland opens. It's time to lace up your skates and experience the joy of ice skating in Central Park.

The huge real ice rink offers undercover fun in all weather, but book your sessions carefully, refunds and date/time swaps are not available. The rink is open seven days a week from now (November 15) until Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

That's except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day, when it is closed. There will be a Christmas Disco every evening and skating aids are free, first come first served. Quiet sessions and family tickets are available see the website for more details and to book now.

A child ticket costs £11.36, plus a £1.14 booking fee. Adult tickets cost £13.18, plus a £1.32 booking fee. Family tickets for two adults and two children, or one adult and three children, cost £39.09 with a £3.91 booking fee.

Entry to the site costs £1, regardless if you have purchased a ticket to skate.

• Monday to Thursday: 3.30pm – 8.30pm

• Fridays: 3.30pm – 10pm

• Saturdays: 12pm – 10pm

• Sundays: 12pm – 9.15pm

• December 22 – 24: 12pm – 10pm

• Christmas Day: CLOSED

• Boxing Day: CLOSED

• December 27 - 29: 12pm – 10pm

• December 30: 1pm – 10pm

• December 31: 12pm – 6pm

• January 1: 12pm – 8pm
