PM: Mental health funding will 'relieve' A&E pressures

The prime minister has said a £150 million funding package for mental health services will help to "relieve" the pressures in busy A&E departments. Rishi Sunak said: "Lots of people with mental health conditions are in A&E departments … it's better for them, their families and indeed our emergency departments if they're treated in alternative settings. Today's announcement will mean that we can deliver on that.".
