Prime Minister Boris Johnson believes the UK is taking "decisive measures" by being the "first country in the world" to put 10 countries on the travel red list in response to the Omicron variant. He says he doesn't think the government needs to change the "overall guidance" on Omicron and reiterates his view that this Christmas "will be considerably better" than last Christmas.
