Pod of Dolphins Delights Lifeboat Crew in England's Poole Bay

A friendly pod of dolphins greeted a RNLI crew on April 13 after they had just completed a service call in Poole Bay, England.

Footage filmed by RNLI Poole Lifeboat Station shows dolphins breaching and swimming near the crew’s lifeboat.

“We were just returning from our 25th call out this year so it’s already been a busy start for us,” Poole RNLI volunteer helm Alex Evans said. “It was a welcome but unusual sight for us to see and they seemed to be as intrigued with the lifeboat as we were with them.”
