U.S. Couple SUE Pokémon Go After Hit Game Turns Their Cul-De-Sac Into ‘Nightmare'

The makers of Pokémon Go could be Pokémon Going to court after a Michigan couple filed a class action against the company.

Scott Dodich and Jayme Gotts-Dodich say that their private cul-de-sac has been turned into a ‘nightmare’ Pokémon player hotspot since the meteoric rise of the game.

The problem is that there is a Pokémon Gym in their road, a real-world location where Pokénthusiasts go to virtually battle each other and gain experience and points in the game.

The couple say that this has led to players blocking driveways along the street and wandering around on private lawns.

They also say they have been subject to verbal abuse. Jayme allegedly asked one player to leave her property but was told to “shut up, b****, or else.”

The pair say they have filed numerous requests to have the stops removed using forms on the company’s website, but that they have received only generic responses.
