Pokemon Go Player Claims To Be First In UK To Have Caught ‘Em All

A man claims to caught all of the available Pokemon characters available in the UK, just days after a player in the U.S. did the same for the stateside critters.

The augmented reality game sees players capturing the virtual creatures in real-world locations.

In a video posted on YouTube, Sam Clark from Southampton showcases the full Pokedex on his phone which appears to contain all 143 Pokemon that are available to British gamers.

The lineup includes the standard 142 creatures, plus an egg-hatched Tauros, which is only available to capture in the U.S.

The keen gamer told the BBC that he had spent hour walking around parks in Southampton in order to find all the Pokemon and that he had lost a substantial amount of weight in the process.

Earlier this week Nick Johnson from Brooklyn, New York appeared to be the first person to catch all of the available Pokemon in the U.S.

There are several creatures that Niantic has not yet released, with many speculating that these are being held back for a special event.

What’s more, some of the critters are region locked, including Farfetch’d, which is exclusive to Asia, Australia’s Kangaskhan and Europe-only Mr Mime.
