Police find £100k in cash and £20k in cannabis at Hull property

Police uncovered around £100,000 in cash and cannabis understood to be valued at £20,000 at a property in Hull.

Officers from Humberside Police's Kinetic Intervention Team executed a warrant in Bathurst Street on Tuesday (November 12) when the discovery was made. Two people have been arrested in connection with the find.

A spokesperson for the force added: "As a part of the search a 32-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of supplying class B drugs, and money laundering.

"Enquiries are ongoing and officers would appeal to anyone who has information, including CCTV or doorbell footage in the area, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting investigation reference 24*161707."
