Police find £15k and heroin in eight North Staffordshire raids
Police have raided eight addresses across North Staffordshire this morning. The sting in Shelton, Hartshill, Etruria, Burslem, and Kingsley saw cops seize £15,000 in cash along with suspected heroin.
The raids, which saw four addresses searched in Shelton along with a vehicle in Penkhull, resulted in the arrests of seven men and one woman. The force has confirmed three men from Stoke-on-Trent, aged 30, 31 and 42, and a North Staffordshire man, aged 41, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply heroin.
In addition three men, aged 42, 43 and 46, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine. In addition a 40-year-old woman, of Stoke-on-Trent, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply cocaine. She has been released under investigation.

The men remain in custody. Officers involved in the warrants say roughly 2lbs of suspected heroin has been seized.
Chief Superintendent Elliott Sharrard-Williams, who oversees policing in Stoke-on-Trent, said: "I want communities in Stoke-on-Trent to know that we are listening to your concerns and continuing to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour."
