Police appeal following report of alleged dangerous driving in Stonehouse

Police are appealing for information following a report of alleged dangerous driving in Stonehouse.

Around 2.35pm on Friday, May 3, a silver Citroen DS3 Crossback ran a red light on Strathaven Road, striking a dog which was crossing the road with its owner at the time.

The driver failed to stop at the scene and the dog was not injured.

Officers are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw the vehicle to come forward.

They are also appealing for any other motorists with possible dashcam footage or anyone with information that may help with our investigation to contact police.
