Police appeal for information following Renfrew break-in and theft

Police are are appealing for information following a break-in and theft at a property in Renfrew.

The incident happened between 5pm on Wednesday, October 2, and 11.30am on Saturday, October 5, in the town's Clairinsh Gardens.

Jewellery, perfume, a sum of cash and a badge of sentimental value were taken during the raid.

Detective constable John Sharkey said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact us.

“We also ask anyone who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”
