Police investigation after incident at North Tyneside pub

Officers investigating a report of an assault in North Tyneside have now located a person to help with their enquires.

Police launched an investigation after a man was allegedly assaulted at a North Tyneside pub.

Enquiries have been ongoing to the report of the assault, and on Wednesday morning (September 11) police released images of a person who they understood to have been in the area at the time of the incident and could have information which may assist the investigation.

This force have confirmed this evening (Wednesday, September 11) that the person has now been located.
