Police appeal after man 'whacks fruit machine' with stool and 'throws money' at staff
Police want to speak to this man after a fruit machine was broken in a betting shop. Officers were called about the incident at Ladbrokes on Front Street in Arnold after it had happened at around 3.20pm on August 22.
The man had been asked to leave and subsequently picked up a stool, whacking the machine with it, before throwing coins at a staff member. He then left.
No injuries were reported. Enquiries are now ongoing, and anyone who recognises the man, who police say could help with their investigation, or who has any information should call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 491 of August 22, 2024, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
PC Tony Mait, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “As part of our ongoing inquiries I am appealing to the man pictured, or anyone who recognises him, to please come forward. We believe he could hold information that could assist us with our investigation.”
