Police appeal after Wednesfield store targeted by shoplifter

Police have launched an appeal after 'multiple' thefts from a shop in Wolverhampton. A CCTV image of a man in a cap has been released as part of the investigation.

West Midlands Police said a store in Silverton Way, Wednesfield, had been targeted. A 'number of items' were taken on September 29, although the force didn't specify what was stolen.

Officers wish to speak to the man pictured in connection with the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the force.

A spokesperson said: "We want to speak to this man in connection with shoplifting in Wolverhampton. We're investigating multiple thefts from a store in Silverton Way, Wednesfield, which includes a number of items being stolen on September 29.
