Detectives have released a CCTV still of a man they wish to identify in connection with the sexual assault of a woman in west London.

The victim was attacked as she walked alone in Acton on July 27 at about 7.30pm.

A suspect grabbed the woman from behind and a struggle happened before the man fled down Avenue Gardens.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, of possible Middle Eastern origin and aged about 20 years old.

He is said to be about 5'11" tall and of medium build.

As it launched its appeal today, the Met said: "The victim did not suffer any physical injuries but was shocked and alarmed by the attack."
